Japanese parents have been tweeting photos of their babies' chubby arms next to bread rolls. In a curious craze that is sweeping Twitter and Instagram, mums and dads are snapping pictures of their children's arms alongside sticks of "pull-apart bread", a popular brioche-style snack from Japanese supermarkets.
It all started after one user, named Koni (@sn15papa), posted a photo with the caption: "Which is bread and which is the arm? I can't tell."
"I created a tag and hope everyone else will take a look at it," Am I the only one who feels that this will become the greatest tag? tweeted the proud parent, Koni. "Clearly, many people agreed. The hashtag launched hundreds of snaps featuring plump baby arms lined up alongside little lumps of dough.
