A new video has surfaced on social media, showing the shocking brutality meted out on a physically challenged man by two Nigerian soldiers in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The soldiers descended on the man, beating him to stupor for wearing a camo – clothing only worn by military personnel. In the unbelievable video, one of the two soldiers was seen as he throws away the wheelchair of the disabled man, after which the two of them began rolling him around accompanying it with serious beating.

He was whipped, kicked and dragged on the tarred road as people watched on, helpless.
The disturbing development comes just days after Nollywood actress Infinity Jewel was hospitalised following a violent attack by a soldier stationed outside Port Harcourt, an incident which prompted the Nigerian Army to bring in the said officer for questioning.

Now, Nigerians are up on social media, demanding justice for this recent victim of military brutality.

Watch the video:

“What a wicked world…. Military police brutalize a cripple man today at New Mkt Rd Osha…. Just because he was on military camouflage!!”

Many Nigerians and human rights activists have also condemned the action of the soldiers with a lawyer and the Director of Due Process Advocates (DPA), Barrister Emeka Ugwuonye, also lent his voice to the brutality of the crippled man by the soldiers. ads
