On Friday,Dr Kanye West was in the mood to inspire as he imparted some
fashion wisdom in his commencement speech to the graduating class of the
Los Angeles Trade Tech College .He said
'When you're the absolute best, you get hated on the most,' 'Its a tough
world out there, you're gonna prepare yourself for politics, bad
bosses, hating employees and usually when you're the absolute best you
get hated on the most,' 'Even for me as a successful musician to make a
transition was really all but impossible. People always try to box you
for what they know you best for.'If it's in your gut, if it's in your
soul, there's no worldly possessions that should come between you and
your expression.'I always had to be accepted to love, and I empathize
with anyone in this era whose ever loved fashion.
He also gushed about his 23-month-old daughter North saying:
'Artists or the most successful artists are close to who they were when
they were five-years-old, four-years-old, three-years-old or when my
daughter wakes up and decides to make a career seven times a day so I
feel extremely honored to see new talent fighting for their voice that I
can only imagine they've been fighting for since age three.'
