Street beggar who claimed to be a struggling mum of triplets rented babies from women in Lagos hospital

Shocking footage shows a scam street beggar using three newborn babies she rented from different women in hospitals to beg for alms. The lady who discovered the sham said she was suspicious of the lady when she asked her about the children and she said she wasn't their mother. When the lady inquired further, the street beggar said the children's mother was nearby but ran away while being interrogated.

Fortunately, she was apprehended by onlookers and returned to the scene.

Street children who were interviewed then revealed to authorities that the woman 'rented' the children from mothers in hospital. ads
